First Strike '08
Saturday,
1/12/2008 @ VFW 8093, Debary, FL
Pre-show
events
Show Begins with Prodigy promo and Recap of Ciatso vs Marr story,
Frankie in the ring and Marr on the projection Screen
Sheik Mohammad Akbar enters the ring wearing a cowboy hat and
tuxedo, mocking (SCW ring announcer) "The Filthy" Ox
then mocking crowd. The Mighty Ox secretly hits the ring and beats
down the Sheik (to include TWO turnbuckle splashes--that's saying
something, considering Ox is a 350+ pound guy in a loud blue
suit).
Match 1
Bennie Blanco (representing The Latin Alliance, accompanied by
Rico Casanova) vs "The Korean Monster" Ryze
(representing the Asian Superstar Organization)
DQ 6:42--Referee Les Adams called for end of match due to
interference by Latin Alliance against Ryze
Match 2 (SCW Light Heavyweight Championship)
Nooie Lee (c) (accompanied by Amy Vitale) def. Jerrelle Clark by
pinfall in 11:36. Lee retains title.
Match 3 (SCW Florida Heavyweight Championship)
Aaron Epic (c) def. Austin Amadeus (accompanied by Axis) by
pinfall in 13:08. Epic retains title.
Promo: In-Ring interview hosted by Evan Starsmore. Special guest:
Mister Saint Laurent (a former 400+ pound wrestler who, in his
first SCW appearance of 2008, shows he has lost a noticeable
amount of surplus weight since the last half of last year). MSL
tells Starsmore that "Team Vision" is in a state of flux
right now, and he sees himself ready to compete as a single
wrestler.
Enter SCW owner Chris Carson, to demand an answer from MSL as to
how he plans to defend his SCW Tag-Team Championship belts. MSL
volunteers to surrender SCW Tag-Team titles due to tag-team
partner "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyzsko tending to
family matters out-of-state, and fellow "Team Vision"
member Chasyn Rance still trying to heal from a serious foot
injury. MSL, insisting he's doing the honorable thing by
voluntarily vacating the tag-team titles, demands that honor
should be shared back with an opportunity to win the SCW Southern
Heavyweight title. SCW owner Chris Carson insists the tag-titles
are being stripped from MSL, not accepted.
Carson continues his harange against MSL and the crowd by
asserting his complete control on all doings in SCW, including
appointing himself referee in the Marr vs Ciatso main event. Enter
SCW co-owner Christena Carson, to challenge Chris Carson's
micromanaging tyranny; Christena swipes away Chris's ref shirt
from him and appoints herself referee for the main event (to the
crowd's approval).
Chris Carson relents to Christena Carson grudgingly, and grants
MSL his chance to earn SCW's highest prize on the condition he is
undefeated leading to his title bout. "Back to the
bottom" if he fails, warns Chris Carson.
MSL's "climb up the ladder" begins immediately.
Match 4:
Mister Saint Laurent def. Andrew Wolf by pinfall in 4:33.
Pre-intermission promo: D-Von Dudley (yes, THAT D-Von Dudley)
promotes Dynamite Championship Wrestling's South Lake H.S.
fundraiser show in Groveland on 1/26/08.
==========
INTERMISSION
==========
Match 5: Tag-team action
Excess, Inc. ("SCW Killing Machine" Axis and Rod the
Mutha F'ing Bod) def. Cousin Dale and A.D.D by pinfall in 8:19.
Match 6
Jason Hexx (representing the Asian Superstar Organization) def.
Tony Valentino (representing The Latin Alliance, accompanied by
Rico Casanova) by pinfall in 5:33.
There were after-match run ins against Hexx from all three Latin
Alliance members until Ryze runs in to assist Hexx.
Match 7 (Special attraction Tag-Team action):
Flashback Jack and Scotty 2 Hotty def. Prodigy and Bug by pinfall
(including "The Worm" by S2H) in 13:36.
End-of-match victory celebration becomes a "dance
clinic" performed by S2H, Flashback Jack (incidentally,
winner of SCW's 2007 gauntlet-rules Dance-Off at the SCW
End-of-the-Year Awards Banquet), and S2H's toddler son--who, at
barely 3 years old, knows how to do "the worm" like his
daddy.
Match 8:
Main Event (SCW Southern Heavyweight Championship)
Thomas Marr (accompanied to the ring by Amy Vitale, Austin
Amadeus, and Nooie Lee) versus Francisco Ciatso (c) (alone)
Referee Christena Carson calls for the end of the match by
disqualification in 9:39 due to interference by Lee and Amadeus,
which then degrade to beatdowns of Ciatso after the match by all
The Elite Party Members (Lee, Amadeus, Axis, Rod the Bod).
Winner: Ciatso (c) by DQ
Ciatso's "Double Deuce" tag-team partner Cannon charges
the ring to assist, but gets a savage folding chair to the head
from Thomas Marr, who then crashes it into Ciatso's head. Lee and
Amadeus bring a folding table to the ring for The Elite Party to
smash Ciatso through it.
Asian Superstar Organization members Hexx and Ryze charge the ring
to assist Ciatso and Cannon, and manage to clear out all but Lee.
Lee attempts to negotiate a truce with the ASO through shared
asian heritage (Ryze is Korean, Hexx is Taiwanese; Lee is Thai).
There is much hand-pressing and reverent bowing to one another,
but Lee's call for peace fails as he himself is smashed through
the folding table by Ryze. Lee's crunching impact seems to rattle
Ciatso's and Cannon's senses back, and they all laugh at the
spectacle of an Elite Party member buried in broken table. ASO and
Double Deuce leave the ring triumphant and to loud crowd approval.
Saturday,
10/15/2007 @ Eastmonte Civic Center, Altamonte Springs, FL
National
Anthem--performed by Cindi Spurgeon of Ocoee, FL
(Ms.
Spurgeon's applause after the performance was cut short by Sheik
Mohammad Akbar, former manager of Sultan Ali and current
part-time adviser to "The Thoroughbred" Thomas Marr.
Akbar, a manager from Saudi Arabia and critic of American
culture, ran down the audience with anti-American insults
and threats. Enter The Mighty Ox, the SCW ring announcer
(and 2004 SCW Hall of Fame inductee), insisting he leave the
ring so the show could start. Akbar moves toward the
ringside steps, then suddenly swings at Ox. Ox blocks and
counters with several jabs to the gut, then flings Akbar to a
turnbuckle for a splash.
As
Akbar crumples to the ring mat, Ox grabs him by the necktie and
and shouts angrily at him, forcing a separation between them by
SCW ring crew (led by "SumoBob Rosen [2005 Hall of Fame
Inductee]) and by Cristena "Silhouette" Carson (2005
SCW Hall of Fame Inductee). With Akbar escorted to the
parking lot, The tuxedo-clad baritone giant apologizes to the
audience for losing his cool, but explains that Akbar's comments
were not only inappropriate but also getting personal. He
thanked Ms. Carson, SCW co-owner and Ladies League fighting diva
in her own right, for helping him regain composure. Both
leave together as the first match is unannounced.

Cage
Fury
Auburndale,
FL
In
the beginning of the show,we hear the familiar music of Copacabana
being played and than we see the signature bathrope of Classy
Chris Nelson. As he walks down the stage,we come to find out that
Chris Carson and not Chris Nelson was wearing the bathrobe and
trying to rpoduce a cheap pop.
Carson enters the ring and starts gunning down the people of
Auburndale.Nelson hearing this garbage decided to come out and
defend the his hometown crowd. He tells Carson to keep his mouth
shut and that he was going to win the battle royal for the crowd.
Legion Cage vs. Flashback Jack
Personally I considered Flashback to be totally outclassed by the
veteran Legion Cage.Long match and easy victory in my book.
Side note This was Legion Cage's last match with SCW and will be
moving to Maine to pursue a career move.We will miss you Legion.
Axis & Noiee Lee vs. ASO
Maybe the move of the night with Axis diving over the top rope
onto Ryze.It still took help from Thomas Marr for Team Elite to
win the match.
Jason Sensation and John Isaacs come out and issed a challenge to
anyone in the back locker room.
George the Punnisher came out and startled the
egotistical pair.In fact ,Sensation was none too thrilled at
facing this mountain of a man.
All during this match,George was over powering Sensation.John
Isaacs decides to get involved once more and George choke slams
Isaacs causing a disqualification to George because he brought
Isaacs into the ring.Jason Sensation was very proud of himself
because he finally wins a match,
Ray Beez vs. Aaron Epic
Beez is a spectacular and tough grappler. He took much punnishment
in this match and kept the pressure on Epic.Aaron Epic retained
the belt but the crowd was definately behind Beez.
Team Vision vs. Stern,Jones,and Dantastic
This match up has much history behind it because these six guys
hate each others guts.Team Vision gets the win. Some
extracurricular activity happened between the two teams after the
match and had to be seperated by security.
THE CAGE OF FURY
THOMAS MARR VS. FRANCOSCO CIATSO
This match was what it was.Cage of fury.Thomas Marr
and Francisco Ciatso fought with much brutality and blood was
spilled by both men. Both mens faces were raked acrossed the
unforgiving steel cage.As the match was winding down,Axis and
Noiee Lee became
involved in the match.
Axis clocked Cannon with a high boot square in the mouth.Noiee and
Axis entered the cage and the three Elite Party worked over
Ciatso.Axis grabbed a table from under the ring and brought it
into the cage.
Noiee and Axis performed their double whip and Axis crashed into
Ciatso with a table lodged into the turnbuckles.Ciatso was pinned
and Thomas Marr
"stole" another victory with help from his friends.
16 Man Battle Royal for the Number One contender
to the SCW title.Winner to face Slyk Wagner Brown at the
Anniversary show on OCTOBER 13th
Nelson was declared as the first one to enter the ring from SCW
owner Chris Carson. His first opponenet was Axis. Before Axis even
entered the ring,it appeared that Carson handed Axis a piece of
paper.Knowing Carson these days it was a payoff.Noiee Lee entered
right after that.
As the match progressed,Chris Nelson was a bloody mess for much of
the match.Nelson continued to defy the odds and remained in the
fight almost to the very last.Axis and Noiee Lee remained in the
match with nelson all by himself when Francisco Ciatso still
busted open from the cage.It finally ended up that Nelson was
eliminated and Axis and Lee were left in the ring.Ciatso being the
cagey veteran defeated the duo to be named the number one
contender to the title.
At the end of the day.Nelson and Ciatso were standing tall in the
middle of the ring and Thomas Marr was holding back Axis from
entering the ring.
Great card and enjoyed by all.Looking forward to the main event in
Altemonte on October 13.

March
3, 2007
Southern Championship Wrestling's Counterpoint
was a HUGE hit in DeBary as over 200 attended to see the great
talent that Florida has to offer!
The night was kicked off by Southern Heavyweight Champion, J.D.
addressing next month's titled defense against 400 +, Sultan Ali.
J.D. also made comments that he preferred to wrestle his cousin,
Vordell Walker at the May Spring Breakout show.
Cruiserweight Champion, Jason Sensation successfully defended his
title by defeating Nooie Lee accompanied by Yamato.
Lexie Fyfe pinned Mschif. Following the match, Gorgeous Gary asked
Lexie to join his side as he promises to make Lexie the first ever
SCW Women's Champion.
On the Copa Cabana Club, Classy Chris Nelson interviewed Glacier
and welcomed him to SCW. The interview was interrupted by Team
Vision Members, Larry Zbyszko, Mister Saint Laurent and Chasyn
Rance. The segment ended as Team Vision attacked Nelson and
Glacier.

a steel chain and later leveled Pete Cannon with a steel chair.
Francisco made a challenge to face Marr in a No Holds Barred,
First Blood Street Fight but Marr declined the challenge.

was nothing short of incredible! As both competitors were tied 1
to 1 as time expired, SCW President Chris Carson asked to the
match to go into a sudden death mode. The match came to a
conclusion, when Wagner Brown tore off Walker's knee brace and
applied a leg submission. Walker tapped out and now Wagner Brown
will go on to compete for the Southern Heavyweight title on May
19th as part of Spring Breakout in Orlando, FL.
